Recent rains and more due this week in Victoria - is it going to be enough to hold the birds from heading up north?

They got good rain over many parts of the state. I was in Eildon last night and it poured down for a while.

They're talking about good rains and some flooding in Gippsland this week. It might just do the trick and fill those smaller wetlands. At the very least, it will slow down the movement of birds away from the state.........well, I hope that is the case.
